Finding Freedom in the Chaos A Guide to Emotional Reset Before Pesach

Finding Freedom in the Chaos A Guide to Emotional Reset Before Pesach

May 05, 2025

Isn’t it strange that as we get closer to the holiday of redemption, we seem more enslaved?

I don’t know about you, but the women I’ve been talking too have lists longer than the time it takes to find the matching sock in the laundry; between shopping, cleaning, cooking, dressing daughters- there’s a lot that needs to happen.

So we run around trying to take care of it all and we stop breathing.

Ok, maybe not actually or literally, (although….) but you hear me? We stop breathing life. We stop being embodied. We lose ourselves in the rush.

But I was lucky enough to breathe, intentionally, with two amazing groups of women this week.

Women who recognized that the time of redemption should be about, well, freedom.

I watched these women breathe through painful emotions, I watched them face their fears. I saw them make a choice to see themselves and embrace themselves. It was the most magnificent thing to witness.

Why am sharing this with you?

Because you can do the same. You can make a choice to show up for yourself. To do something that will nurture you. To make a choice to embrace yourself. To invite redemption into your life.

That’s what we talk about in Becoming One.

We have real conversations about real lives and real marriages. We create a space where women can see themselves completely and allow themselves to be seen by others.

Because the truth is, even the best of marriages need attention and care in order to nurture and sustain connection. Of course, for those of us with marriages that could use a boost (stop looking at me!) sometimes hearing the smallest idea or the foundational concept is enough to be the catalyst for change.

This is a course designed to support women in mind, body and soul.

While it’s true we talk about Taharas Hamishpacha, and review its halachos,  we talk about so much more than just that.

My hope for you in taking it is to light a spark inside of you. A light that will nurture the three most important relationships in your life- with yourself, with Hashem and with your husband.

So, stop for a moment, take a deep breath and make the choice to do something for you.
